Information you provide
If you join the Freedom Backyard email list, we collect your email address, optional first name, selected interest, signup source and the time of consent. We use this information to manage the list and send the content you requested.
Basic affiliate measurement
When you click a marked affiliate link, we record the offer name, link placement, page path and time. This first-party event does not intentionally store your IP address, advertising identifier or a cross-site profile.
Analytics and session insights
If you allow analytics, we use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand page visits, scrolling, outbound and affiliate clicks, form completion, usability friction and general session behavior. Clarity can create privacy-filtered session recordings and heatmaps. We do not intentionally send form-field content, health information or email addresses to these tools.
Optional advertising measurement
If you separately choose “Analytics + ads measurement,” the Meta Pixel may record a page view, signup or marked outbound action so we can evaluate controlled Facebook and Instagram experiments. It does not load when you choose analytics only or essential only. We do not send form values, email addresses or health-related content through this browser event integration.
Email service provider
Brevo processes subscriber contact details and email engagement for list management, double opt-in, automated educational sequences and newsletters. You can unsubscribe using the link in every marketing message.
Service providers
The website is hosted using infrastructure providers that may process technical request information for security and delivery. Google, Microsoft, Brevo, Digistore24 and external sellers apply their own privacy terms to information they process.
Cookies and local storage
Freedom Backyard stores separate analytics and advertising-measurement preferences in your browser. Google Analytics and Clarity load only after analytics permission. Meta measurement loads only after separate advertising-measurement permission and only when an official Pixel is configured. Sellers and affiliate networks may use their own cookies or tracking parameters after you follow a marked link.
Retention and security
We retain subscriber records while the email relationship remains active and keep aggregated affiliate measurement as needed to operate the business. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but we limit collection to information needed for these purposes.
Your choices
You may allow analytics without advertising measurement, allow both, or choose essential only. You can clear the stored site preferences in your browser to choose again. You may unsubscribe from future emails using the link in a message or request access, correction or deletion by emailing hello@freedombackyard.com. We may need to verify the request.
Children
This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy as the site and its services change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
